Mickie James was recently interviewed by Women Fitness for a story on her wrestling and music careers, as well as her workout and health regimen.
Women Fitness President Ms. Namita Nayyar conducted the interview with the six-time WWE Women’s Champion.
The two spoke about various aspects of James’ workout, including warm-ups, resistance training, physical therapy, diet, training for the wrestling ring and other facets of her fitness style.
James, who recently returned to WWE action following over a year on the shelf with injury, also discussed mental health aspects of being in the sports entertainment sphere. “You have to have thick skin and put your ego aside and know that not everyone is out to break you down, these criticisms you get are to your benefit,” James told Nayyar.
